What We Do
LC Speech supports children and their families with compassionate and engaging speech and language services designed to strengthen communication skills at home, in school and in everyday life.
Evaluation
LC Speech provides comprehensive speech and language evaluations utilizing a variety of assessment tools and techniques. All evaluations include both standardized and nonstandardized assessments. The evaluator will integrate information from these assessments to describe and interpret your child’s communication skills, including areas of strength and areas for growth. Within two weeks of the assessment, you will be provided with a written evaluation report including any relevant diagnoses, treatment plan, goals for therapy and additional recommendations.
Speech & Language Therapy
LC Speech provides individual therapy to target your child’s speech and language goals. Therapy sessions are individualized to each child and designed to meet your child where she/he is in her/his communication skills. All sessions utilize evidence based practices to expand these skills. Specific goals are targeted each session and data is collected to track your child’s progress over time. Therapy sessions are 30, 45 or 60 minutes long.
Home Strategy Plans
At LC Speech we believe that those in our children’s everyday lives can make the biggest impact. Therefore, we provide coaching and training to parents, preschools, daycares and more. We partner with you to understand your child’s strengths, challenges, and learning style. Through family consultations, we offer clear guidance, answer your questions and equip you with meaningful strategies you can use in everyday routines. Our consultations and customized home plans give you the confidence and skills to support your child’s communication growth in real-life moments.

At LC Speech, we are highly trained in conducting comprehensive evaluations. Each assessment includes a thoughtful combination of formal testing, informal observations, and caregiver input.
